These are plain-language terms for Screenlark, a screen recorder and editor for Windows. By installing or using it you agree to them.

Founding members (the first 50)

• Founding members get the whole app free for 6 months. After the first 50, new members get 3 months free; later this may become 1 month.
• In return you agree that we may use diagnostics only to test and improve the software: which features are used, how long a render takes, and where something failed. When this feature is added, the app asks first and you can switch it off.
• Diagnostics never contain your recordings, your screen content, your captions or the text you type.
• You can also send a report any time with “Report a bug” in the app or on the website.

One free period per PC

To stop the free period restarting after a reinstall, the app sends a one-way code (a hash) made from the PC’s identifier. It cannot be turned back into the identifier and contains nothing personal. If the app is offline it uses the date saved on your PC.

Prices after the free period

Launch prices: ₹199 per month, ₹799 for 6 months, ₹1,299 for 12 months. Prices may change for new purchases. Your old projects always stay yours and you can always open and export them.

Your recordings

Your recordings, projects and exports belong to you. Screenlark works on your PC and does not upload them.

Fair use

Do not copy, resell or reverse-engineer the app, and do not record other people without their permission where the law requires it. The app is provided “as is”. We do our best to keep it reliable, but cannot promise it will never fail, so keep a backup of important classes.
